Food labels are meant to provide the calories and macronutrient totals for foods so that we can understand how many calories we take in per day. The requires the food labels to be accurate. What does the FDA accept for accuracy and is anyone actually checking on these numbers? Two studies and a video show that perhaps it’s much more important to not trust these labels. When dieting to lose body fat and creating a meal plan it may be best to avoid packaged foods for best results.
